How the gutter and drainage work
Integrated gutter. Planned drainage.
Roof fall directs water into a gutter channel built into the front frame. The outlet, downpipe and final discharge connection are configured for the measured home.
The demonstration shows the water path; it does not represent project-specific rainfall capacity.
Materials, impact demonstration and care
Materials: 3 mm solid flat polycarbonate with 1.5–2.5 mm aluminium alloy framing across the range. The gauge is selected for the measured structure.
99%+ UV protection. Expected serviceable panel life of 20+ years assumes appropriate installation and care; this is separate from warranty.
Material-level comparison: up to approximately 250× the impact resistance of comparable glass and about 50% lighter. Based on technical data for the panel product specified in the quote.

Can my existing pergola be covered? →Will a clear roof feel hot in summer?
Clear panels prioritise daylight. Tinted panels reduce visible light, but orientation, ventilation, roof height and surrounding shade also affect comfort. UV protection alone is not a measure of heat performance. Read the comfort and weather guide.
Will I need engineering or council approval?
Requirements depend on the structure, attachment and site. Alpoco identifies likely requirements during scope review and confirms next steps before installation is scheduled.
How soon can my roof be installed?
We normally reply to an initial enquiry within two business days. Fabrication and installation timing depend on the measured scope and any approvals, and are confirmed in the written quote.
What does the warranty cover?
Your written quote identifies the components covered by the one-year labour warranty and three-year materials warranty, along with relevant conditions and exclusions. Expected service life is separate from warranty.
How do I look after the roof?
Cleaning access, nearby trees and roof pitch affect maintenance. Project-specific care guidance is supplied with your roof. Read the cleaning guide. Any later blinds or lighting should be assessed against the installed structure before work begins.
